On August 21, the expedition crew got in touch with the Coastal Center. The sailors said that after a stop and minor repairs at Les Sables d’Olonne on August 20, they headed for La Coruña, where they were originally going. On their way to the Spanish port the travelers planned a stopover.
The crew continues to move along the Bay of Biscay. According to travelers, in comparison with the North Sea, the bay was welcoming — in the absence of wind, it is possible to sail. However, today the trimaran runs on motor and at speed of 3.5 knots; the wind is unfavorable.
Evgeny Kovalevsky and Stanislav Berezkin report operational information to the Coastal Center.
